After my diagnosis, I've spoken at cancer support groups as well as the American Brain Tumor Association.
As I emphasize in the letters I wrote to my daughter, the first casualty of a cancer diagnosis is hope.
As I do in my letters to my daughter, I hammer hope the importance and even healing power of hope in patients with a dire prognosis.
